Vertical Cuttings Dryer
Are you looking to better manage waste cuttings for your operation utilizing a Vertical Cuttings Dryer? Elgin Separation Solutions is your one-stop-shop for complete VCD turn-key solutions. Elgin’s Vertical Cuttings Dryer continues to be the industry choice as the most reliable and efficient solution when dealing with waste cuttings. We have brought together the industry’s leading specialists in the engineering, design, manufacture, commissioning, and servicing of VCD’s. No other company in the industry has sold more or serviced more VCD’s.
In addition to the CSI-E3 Cyclone™ & CSI-E4 Cyclone™ VCD, Elgin Separation Solutions has designed the industry’s first, and patented, dual-drive cuttings dryer. The CSI-D4 Cyclone Pro™ allows operators the ability to adjust the performance of the dryer based on the nature of the solids that are being fed to it. Operators can adjust both the applied G-force and the dwell time between the scraper flites and the screen. This technology allows the CSI-D4 Cyclone Pro™ to be used in both oil-based and water-based drilling fluid environments. Elgin’s CSI-D4 Cyclone Pro™ is the first and only vertical cuttings dryer capable of processing water-based cuttings with a Class 1 – Division 1, explosion proof, air cooled control panel.
Introducing the new CSI Cyclone™ E-Series Vertical Cuttings Dryer
Elgin has evolved the industry leading CSI-03™ and CSI-04™ cuttings dryer with the introduction of the CSI-E3 Cyclone™ and CSI-E4 Cyclone™ VCD. This new design removes the active lubrication system and replaces the traditional gearbox with an oil-sealed gearbox for increased performance and less downtime.
Introducing the new CSI Cyclone Pro™ D-Series Vertical Cuttings Dryer
Elgin’s CSI Cyclone Pro™ D-Series Vertical Cuttings Dryers are the world’s first, patented, dual-drive dryer. This novel technology allows operators the ability to adjust the performance of the dryer based on the nature of the solids being fed to it. Using a combination of proprietary gear boxes, operators can adjust both the applied G-force and the dwell time between the scraper flites and the screen. This technology allows the VCD to be used in both oil-based and water-based drilling fluid environments.
